Matt Jones, Director of Development

Matt is a lover of people and the stories that we share.  He has done everything under the sun over the past eight years when it comes to fundraising: lemonade stands, motorcycle rides, multi-million dollar endowments and capital campaigns.

In his previous roles as Senior Consultant at Hartsook Companies, special events and marketing at Ace Cafe London, and as a major gift solicitor for Children Mercy, he came to see and believe that relationships and real philanthropy take time. Matt is passionate about “linking passions to meaningful causes that change not only the lives of the receiver but the giver as well  – this is where I thrive.”

Matt holds a B.A. in Business Administration, and is currently getting his MBA in Management from Rockhurst, in KC. He is an avid reader and lifelong learner, and always willing to try something new.
