Summer Day Camp

Register here

We are ready for summer camp 2023! We will have all our favorite camp activities from Gaga Ball, to Archery, to Hiking, to Water Wednesday! We will pair these activities with an awesome new lineup of weekly themes. No matter what week you chose, each day your camper will be challenged, educated, and able to step out of their comfort zone in different ways.

Registration

Extra! Extra! Something new and exciting here!

Emblems are here! What are Emblems? Recognition is an important part of all Camp Fire Heartland’s programs. It helps youth build self-esteem and pride in their accomplishments. Each week, your camper will receive a unique Emblem for partaking in our “Trail Journeys”. An Emblem is a visual record of the projects and activities they participated in during their time at Camp. Our Emblems will be stickers that you can use to put on water bottles, electronic devices, luggage, and more! Camp Fire Heartland will provide you with one option to keep track of your Emblems your first day of camp!

Scholarships

This year, we have 2 different types of scholarships. Please read them thoroughly to see what scholarship you need to apply for!
1. Community Action Agency Scholarship
We are proud to be a partner with Community Action Agency, who provides support services to those living in Clay, Jackson or Platte County. This year they are giving us 100 government funded scholarships!
To Qualify, Community Action Agency Scholarships requires:

  • Families that live in Clay, Jackson, or Platte County only.
  • Income in household has to be 125% or lower of the poverty line according to the Poverty Guidelines and regards to household size.
    • Note: 125% or lower falls very close, however not for every family, to Free and Reduced Lunch qualifications. It is also based on if your camper individually qualifies for free lunch, not if their school qualifies for free lunch.
  • Must also have photo ID, a utility bill for proof of residency that is no later than 30 days old, and social security cards for all members of the household.
  • Fill out this form and send it to the email address in the form: YS-FY2022-2023-Enrollment-Packet.pdf (caagkc.org)

2. Camp Fire Heartland Scholarship
Camp Fire Heartland provides scholarships each year.
